A few weeks ago I picked up two starter sets for Knight Models' Marvel Universe Miniature Game. As soon as I saw them on the shelves I had visions of my newly painted Avengers team assembling around Captain America, in a battle against Professor X's mutant heroes.
As promised here is our second spoiler for the Blood Moon Rising Pine Box. Once again we have Jimi here to explain the card.
Let us know what you think of it and don't forget our Sheriff will be taking place on October 8th - the event information can be found here: https://www.iqgaming.co.uk/games/doomtown-reloaded-sheriff-2016
Now in the meantime here is Jimi!
It's that time again spoiler season. We have two spoilers for you this time around (but you'll have to wait a few weeks for the next one)
So this weeks promo - well I'm going pass you on to Jimi to explain the card better but let us know what you think of it! Without further ado here is Jimi!
As the Sloane Gang are my favourite Doomtown: Reloaded faction, it was ‘an offer I couldn’t refuse’ from IQ Games to talk about the new Outfit coming in Blood Moon Rising!
It feels like it was only yesterday we were here!
The newest saddlebag is only around the corner and we've got a spoiler for it. This time around the introduction is written by Scott so without further ado lets look at the card!
Well the Eurpoean Marshal has come and gone (watch out for a write up about the event coming soon), so as a treat why not lets see a spoiler for the next saddlebag coming out soon!
The other week we held an Outlaw event for Doomtown Reloaded. This event was fan created and one of only a handful in the world (and the only one in the UK), AEG kindly offered the winner of each event the chance to name a card so there was something to shoot for.
We had a great day running the event with a turn out of 24 players from all over the UK and after a number of hard fought rounds a winner was named
Adam won using a Morgan Gadget deck and rather than us explain how the rounds went let's pass this blog over to him and he can give you a run down of the day.
Well here we are again! Coming soon will be the report from our Outlaw event but for the meantime we thought we'd share a spoiler for the tenth expansion - The Curtain Rises.
This time we have Stephen ready to give us a bit of an insight into the card itself so without further ado here he is!
The Curtain Rises Spoiler
So here's a nice little Totem for all you Eagle Wardens out there. We've had a few decent Totems recently so this one is always going to have stiff competition.
On Saturday 26th March, IQ Gaming hosted their Android: Netrunner Store Championship 2016. 19 players showed up to hack-in, run the nets and protect massive corporations from criminal activity.
Over 4 gruelling rounds of Swiss, and a double-elimination cut to the top 4 players, we had our winner - Gary Bowerbank. Congratulations Gary!
On the 27th - 29th May the Grand Prix Manchester will be taking place. Yesterday we ran the first of our two GPT's for the event.
We had a turn out of twelve players and an interesting mix of decks however after four rounds and a top four only two remained - Esper Red and Mardu Blue.
In a long hard fought battle it was Thomas A that was triumphant playing his own deck design Mardu Blue.
Here we are again! Another week another Store Championship (or at least that is what it feel like during these months every year). I have to admit all of us at IQ Games Centre really look forward to the Store Championship time as it allows us to put on some great events and reconnect with players we don't see as often as we'd like.
This weeks Store Championship was for A Game Of Thrones Second Edition. This is the first Store Championship since the games reboot that we have run so we were looking forward to it!
